A TASTE OF HEAVEN, #3


BEEF-LIKE STEW


3 c water
3 med. Potatoes, cut in chunks
1 onion, cut in chunks
2 carrots, cut in chunks
2 stalks celery, cut in chunks
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c walnut gluten, or any veggie meat
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
3 T soy sauce, unfermented
1 T nutritional yeast flakes


Put all ingredients in a large saucepan, and cook until all vegetables are tender (about 20 minutes). Very delicious!



DELUXE CORN BREAD


1 c cornmeal
1 c unbleached white flour
¼ c turbinado sugar
1 T Ener-G baking powder
2 T wheat germ
1 tsp sea salt
1 T soy four or tapioca flour
1/3 c canola oil
1 c soy milk


Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add canola oil and soy milk. Mix well. Pour into an oil sprayed 9” pie dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Delicious!



TASTE OF HEAVEN PUDDING


½ c soy milk
1 pkg tofu, firm, Mori-Nu silken
1/3 c carob powder
½ c turbinado sugar
½ tsp sea salt
1 tsp vanilla


Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour into small containers. It will thicken as it sets. Keep them in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving. Very Delicious!
